What is americano?
Americano is a classic drink and one of the oldest Italian aperitif drinks, made out of wine, herbs and natural spices. Its original name ‘’Vin America’’ is a classic vermouth with a bitter twist
How to enjoy it?
Amarico is an eclectic drink that can be enjoyed on the rocks, with mixers and as a cocktail ingredient.
What are it’s ingredients?
Water, sugar, peach juice, rhubarb root extracts, sweet orange & lemon zest, china calissaia, cortex, absinth & genziana roots and flowers, preservatives, potassium sorbate Fruits, citrus and spices have been carefully sourced in Italy whilst the botanicals have been sourced from the rest of the world.
Does it contain alcohol?
Some of our botanical extractions use alcohol as it is an excellent solvent, but amàrico contains less than 1% alcohol, so according to EU legislation, it is classified as non-alcoholic. When used in a spritz, it drops to about 0.2%. For comparison, ripe bananas and orange juice can contain up to 0.5% alcohol.
Amarico is a completely natural non-alcoholic product and it is an alternative for those who do not want to consume alcohol.
Does contain sugar?
Yes, amàrico contains unrefined cane sugar. We tried lots of alternatives, including agave syrup (not very sustainable) and honey (not vegan), as well as sweeteners (which all impacted the taste in a very negative way).
TASTING NOTE
Amarico presents an amber colour, a summery & aromatic fragrance and a citrusy & refreshing taste with an harmonic back-taste
